ripp off 'Village of damned'?

I think this film is ripp of John Carpenter's 'Village of the Damned'.
cursed innocent children turns zombies!
any comment?

Carpenters "Village" was a remake of a British 60's film. Which in itself was an adaptation of a book called "The Midwich Cuckoos" by John Wyndham. I consider this film and that to be different enough. This is a virus which is infecting children giving them a psychic(?) link with each other and causing a mild case of what I call the homicidal tendencies. And by mild I mean extreme. While Village was about alien/human hybrids with a psychic link and telekinesis who don't hate adults but anyone who they perceive to be a threat. The kids in Village were never innocent, hell they were never human at least not totally. If you ever get the chance check out Children of the Damned where everyone but the children are "monsters".

I would love to hear a list of the reasons for believing this.1. There are creepy kids in it.2. Ummmm.... ---It wants no straps. - Karlhttp://www.imdb.com/board/bd0000024/nest/158601447

I think it's more similar to "Who Can Kill A Child" than Village of the Damned but it isn't very similar to that movie either.

Interesting because I came to pretty much the same conclusion although The Children leans heavily towards John Carpenters The Thing.

It's all a deep end.
