Did the virus come from the snow? They were playing in it the whole time and kids eat snow, plus it would explain the snowglobe scene a little
I'd say so. There was a scene in which a frozen pond had some tadpoles in it which then cut to what looked like parasites. I'd say it was the snow. Although I don't remember the oldest girl playing much in it.
