Paperhouse + Candyman were good...

enough to perk my interest in this one. Danny Huston's not much of an actor though. Hhmmmm

See an obscure masterpiece: Dandy, the All-American Girl !

Paperhouse is one of my favorite movies, and Candyman is great, I agree.

But I have to disagree about Danny Huston. He is a great actor.
He’s not loud or a mimic. He says his lines, and imports his emotion into the character. He doesn’t overpower the movie like some actors with their “interpretations” as if they are performing in some vaudeville review.

Check out Rose's Ivans Xtc for his greatest performance. And a sublime movie. Or The Proposition. He’s solid in that, too.

The Kreutzer Sonata is a very good movie. Intense. Elisabeth Rohm turns in a brave, riveting performance.
One of the most emotionally aware movies, I’ve watched in a long time.
