I wanted to like it but...

...so many questions. Was he so incredibly wealthy that he could demolish his house? (How stupid, or rather insane, was that?) How did his family not have him committed as insane? Why did the boy's mother not think this was a red flag? Why didn't the police show up from a neighbor's call? Oh, and there are so many more questions.
Jake Gyllenhaal's performance was good, but the movie was just really bad.

I just watched it last night. Overall, I liked it. The characters are interesting. I won't watch it again.

That whole house demolition scene was odd. I understand what was going on, but wow, how about leaving it intact for another buyer.

The weapon scene was weird too. What if that kid missed?

Anyway, it was an interesting way to dramatize grief.

I think the kids mom was clueless or in denial about a lot.

Anyway, it was an interesting way to dramatize grief.

I wanted to watch it, but after viewing the trailer and seeing the constant movement, of the camera, it was just too distracting for me to want to see the whole thing.
