The Queen's seen it!

They closed off bits of Leicester Square a few nights ago because she was going to see this at the big Odeon there.

I didn't know the Queen went to the cinema... never mind the Odeon!

Has anyone seen it? Would one have been amused?

A Royal goes to see a film in November every year, it's a charity event. Although I was surprised it was the Odeon too!
I can't guarantee the queen laughed, (I was sitting about 25 rows behind her!) but it went down really well, and the audience definitely enjoyed it.
Well worth a watch!

She usually watches films in her own private cinema, I believe!

It was reported in one of the daily newspapers (Daily Mail or Mail on Sunday, I think) that The Queen enjoyed it so much that she asked the producers for a copy to show at Sandringham over the Christmas holiday.

Maybe she's a lifelong "Smokey & The Bandit" fan.
