I can't wait to get this (though due to my bank account that'll be a little while), and just want to know, is this as kickass as all the trailers have led me to believe?

Thanks for hyping up that game. Its a good game. I can say that it doesn't suck, it isn't bad, its a good rental.

Post office sucks! 1 month to deliver a package that would've taken 47 minutes to deliver.

What version were you playing?
The ending is not "epic", in fact it's a little contrived.

I did like the game though.
Going back to play on hard and get 100%.

There is plenty to see and do outside of the main story, from side quests to finding new tunes (best moment yet was unlocking a Tenacious D tune and Eddie saying this bad were pretty good.) Ozzy as the guardian of metal is funny, and he has another self referential cameo but I'll not spoil that one.

The music is great, I'm not metal fan. But it just works with the scenery. Which is also great the way each part of the world has a different look with some amazing satues and monuments to see.
I thought the game world was really interesting and being able to free roam the main map was great.
Made a change from the bald space marine running around in a world full of 178 shades of brown.

Played a little multi-player but was not impressed at all.

It's a good solid game, not great but worth a play.

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he is God.

the DECAPPPITATIOOOOONNNNNN!!!!!! line where eddie cuts of doviculus's head is absolutly incredible.

The very end is good, not amazing, I liked the monolgue about a roadie being used again.

"Hey I heard those guys talking about organizing a union!"
"GRR!"

*beep* ton better than the stupid ending to Bioshock. Or pretty much any other ending to a game since I played Psychonauts.

indeed. PBemps is right. The very end of psychonauts wasn't anything special, but it was exactly what it needed to be. brutal legend isn't the best game I've ever played, but I haven't laughed so much or reveled in awesomness this much since schafers last game.

OMG I love Brutal Legend it is such a kick ass game! Eddie Riggs is a surprising stud but Ophelia is the hottest chick in the game(girl crush)! Plus Tim Curry! <3 I love the soundtrack (Raining Blood is awesome-sauce!), I love the storyline...my only complaint is that I wish the fighting style were more like an rpg than a strategy game.

what are you on man? so you're saying every single game ending the the past 5 YEARS!!! pales in comparison to psychonauts?

i think i know the problem here, theres something preventing you from seeing clearly here, ah yes there it is. It's Tim Schaefer's arse, since you clearly have your head stuck way up in it.

the ending to psychonauts was ok. the game is great.
but the brutal legend cutscene after the main boss fight pretty much tops anything in the history of awesomeness.

Okay, I bought 'the Warriors' as well and thought some of it's game mechanics would be in the next GTA, but, that being said, I think the game was ok. Doesn't mean I right and your wrong. I'm just saying...
