What a Cool Glitch

So I'm at the part where you have to ride the Metal Beast through the swamp and use the fire breathing ability to cut a path for the bus, I get to the bridge and there are a couple of baddies that can't be killed by fire, so I hop off and do what I do best, when they're dead the Metal Beast decides to take off, leaving me to walk the rest of the way to the Dry Ice Mines... wow that's awesome

I was too busy complaining

Haha, well at least that one is easily fixable. How about the one where you finish all the hunter missions but in order to claim your reward, you have to find that one guy that gives you all the animals to kill. Except, his location isn't marked on the map!? So, if you don't remember exactly where he was, you can circle around looking for him for many minutes.

Yeah...first playthrough of the game, I was a bit stumped there too. Thanks to the gods of Google, I found out where he was so I could get my damned spiked axe (possible SPOILER below...)

He was hanging out where I first met him in the game. On the hill across from the big Iron Cross statue. Elusive bastard. Speaking of which, the Hunter was voiced by the comedian from The Sarah Silverman show...Brian Posehn...a self proclaimed heavy metal superfan in real life.

Might I also add something completely unrelated to this thread...I HATE the mapping/quest navigation in Brutal Legend. Don't get me wrong...as a whole, I LOVE the game, but using the Dueces taillights or the "big light from the sky" is a pain in the arse. They should have utilized Fable 2's "glowing breadcrumb" idea but instead of breadcrumbs, something more fitting for the image of the game. Drops of blood maybe? I don't know.

I am praying for a Brutal Legend sequel as I"m typing this. Maybe they could get some more "heavy metal legends" for the sequel.

Yeah, I found out where he was too but even with that bit of guidance, I still circled around looking for him for a bit. Yeah, I know who BP is and that "metal by numbers" song is pretty funny.

I hope they make a sequel too but if they do, I wish they would take out all those RTS battle sequences. The game was so much fun except for that.

I agree, I wanted a death metal styled God of War game ala Tim Schaffer, everything else delivered except the RTS battles. As for a sequel I wouldn't hold my breath, they still need to make another Psychonauts game

? Really, dude? You do realize that the RTS sequences made up 3/4 of the game right? So you want a run of the mill hack and slash game with a few metal references? Just accept the game for what it is.

i'm not a big fan of tower defense rts games at all. but, this is the first one i played. it works for the world and for the game. i can't see how the game would work a rock show any other way. i enjoy the crap out of this game even now in four years after the game came out. even though i'm more of a punk fan. i love my metal and i love this game. it didn't make me a fan of rts games but i enjoyed the crap out of the game
