Hey, I thought it was pretty damn good!!

I know there have been some highly negative opinions posted here, but I thought it was pretty good. Emma gave an amazing performance as the femme fatale, Chris as well..its fresh take on the Fatal Attraction type story and worth seeing

Yes it's not as bad as some of the juveniles here seem to think, considering the budget. At least it didn't have a Hollywood ending... more like something you'd expect from Asia, which is a good sign or trend.

I liked the Perth locale...

i thought it was really good and i seriously did not see the twist coming. it worked really well though

reply

Are you kidding i saw the twist coming a mile away! But yes it was a good well acted movie up to that point. I think they should have kept has a crazied stoker, but i guess they wanted to mess around with Julian's possible insanity.

I thought this was one of the worst movies I have seen in a long time. Someone really messed up post production as this movie had so many editing errors e.g. jump cuts and repeat motion shots that don't belong. The script was weak to say the least; it was like halfway through they remembered they were supposed to be making a thriller/horror. I'm all for independent Aussie films but come on this was just awful.

Mate, you're a complete TURKEY!

The film was edited by Jason Ballantine, the guy who edited Wolf Creek and Rogue - all the jump cuts, repeat motions etc were INTENTIONAL. That was clearly the films editing STYLE. I'm studying editing at AFTRS and this film has been beautifully cut.

You need to go back to high school.

LOL! no reply?

I'll put it in the "movie in 3 parts" section of my logbook.

1. Starts off slowly and only gives a tiny clue away.
2. Becomes really good and involving.
3. Ends a bit stupid with an Exorcist style haunting.

It's one of those films that if a little bit more thought was put into it it could have been an excellent movie. But it's worth a viewing.

I didn't mind it either. The biggest let down for me was knowing Chris Egan was an Aussie, yet her was trying to do an American accent that just didn't cut it :( The actress who played Anna was great - her voice is quite unique and great for the part she played!

i thought his accent was alright...

reply

i think the accent is more than alright. i just don't understand why he needed the american accent. and overall, i think the movie deserves at least a 7. it's not absolutely fantastic, but it's certainly not terrible.

reply

I missed the beginning of the movie and I had absolutely no idea he was supposed to be an American until I came to IMDB. Needless to say, the accent wasn't very convincing.

The ony reason I just watched thia was for Chris Egan and he didn't disappoint. Other than him, the only decent thing about the movie was the house. Very nice! The sports opening was too long and not important to the story at all. The pace was slow until the end but I didn't see the plot twist coming which was good. About par for films these days; nothing to write home about sadly.

Yes i didnt think it was too bad. It looked more like a tellymovie though - not the same 'look' as your typical celluoid.
