Kids reminds me of an actress

I just finished my first episode of Psychic Kids and I have to say I think I saw an actress.

The episode had 3 girls in it and Chip Coffee took them to a place called the Story Inn. There was a little girl who was 8 named Faith (I think). She reminds me of some actress but I can't think who. Can anyone help me?

I just finished watching that very episode. It was the first episode I've ever seen. I actually went into it with an open mind, suspending my disbelief and hoping to be convinced that the phenomena were genuine. I was completely underwhelmed.

I'm absolutely convinced that all three girls were actresses. They were simply too comfortable and confident in front of the cameras to be anything but. Listen to them speak. How articulate and matter-of-fact! They never clammed up, trailed off, or broke down, as you would expect from such young children trying to talk about confusing and terrifying experiences.

Even when they were supposedly "upset," their composure was still basically unshaken, and their delivery of lines such as "Leave me alone, I hate you!" rang hollow and unconvincing. The level of tension in their voices just didn't match the level of tension that the "scary" scenes were trying to evoke.

Seriously, very few normal kids at that age are so well-spoken, outgoing, and modulated, even without the pressure of being on camera... and these are kids who are supposed to have grown up feeling totally different and misunderstood by the world? Sorry, I just didn't buy it.

Plus, all three girls were just a little too photogenic to pass as ordinary kids.

And that "Chip" guy, what a fountain of crap he was! Everything out of him was a painfully hackneyed "spirit medium" cliche. He's supposed to be an expert? I think his only training was watching Poltergeist! Just throw in some vague references to "crossing over," and "the other side," and guess what? "You're haunted." What a load of crap, I must say.

On the bright side, at least I don't think any real kids with real issues are being exploited here. The kids were in on it. Just harmless entertainment, really. Most certainly not to be taken seriously.

LIFE: It's just a movie.
