Don`t blame the kids.

Most of what you see on television is meant to inform, educate, and above all, ENTERTAIN! A&E knows that and wants to keep you intrigued and on the edge of your seat. Yes, they do add sound effects, music, etc.

EVERY network does that.

But that doesn`t negate the fact that what these kids experience is real. There are so many things in this world that simply can`t be explained, or proven a hoax. Of course I get that no one wants to be lied to or conned. It does make us angry when we find out that we were, and the obviousness was right in front of our eyes.

But ask yourself this: What person wants to be made to feel like a liar? A crazy person? To have their credibility, integrity, and respect questioned or dismissed? To be hated or ostracized by friends and family? To have the threat of a social worker come to your house, take you away from your home, and tell you your parents are not fit to raise you because you claim to see spirits/ghosts?

What person would put themselves through all that?

I am quite happy being called a crazy person. You want to know why?

Because if i wasn't crazy it means that every person i know has been telepathcally torturing me. If i admit i'm crazy i can get medication to stop the symptoms. I am now recovered and if i never admitted to myself or someone else that i'm crazy i never would be symptom free like I am now.

It is not an insult to call these kids mentally ill. Instead, it's a path to recovery.

Oh. Did you think I meant that I don`t believe these children? Cuz my point was that I do believe them.

If they`re just trying to get attention, then that would make them no better than the children that use to accuse specific adults they did`nt like during the Salem witch trials. Lying to get attention is pathetic. And in the end, it doesn`t accomplish much---except in that case, hurt innocent people.

No average kid is scared to tears of being in their bedroom alone if there wasn`t something else in there with them that only they could see.

Well I think someone's mental health should be evaluated if they start seeing things. Instead of just jumping to I'm seeing ghosts, aliens, etc. Then maybe you can setup field experiments around area's these people claim to see ghosts, aliens, etc.

Make sure it isn't mold, gas leak, natural hallucinogens, etc. Then start measuring atmospheric change, magnetic energy, etc around the place. Because it could literally be anything.A change in air pressure, moisture, mercury, etc could cause issues. There has been plenty of paranormal things explained by just natural elements.

Jumping to the most far fetched conclusion without any real investigative work, just means you want that explanation to be true.
