At the end her hair has turned white. Is this supposed to signify that she's aged? Cause neither her or Simon looked to have aged in the face. Or is it just to signify something else that I didn't understand?

I think it's supposed to show she's rich and successful not that she's writing the stories and selling them? I thought it was supposed to be white hair at first but then Simon didn't look any older and I realised it's more of a platinum blonde.
