female lead singer + other thoughts

Is it just me or is the new female lead singer a very weak replacement for Tracy Bonham? I mean no disrespect, maybe I'd love her if she came first. But I just didn't get the same feeling from the songs on this tour that I did the first time around.

Overall, 2.0 just didn't do it for me. It felt like there were too many non-music bits (or they went on too long). The new songs aren't the same quality as The Complex. And while Baba O'Riley sounded fine, the guitar work on the cover of Pink Floyd's One Of These Days was lousy.

I really feel like BMG may have hit their creative peak with The Complex and now we're into retread territory. Hopefully they prove me wrong.
