My songlist for GH4!

And no, this is not ALL of my personal songs that i would pick.

I searched the web for other well known songs as well as some of my own and this is the list i came up with that i think would be awesome to have in the next game.

Section 1:
* guns n' roses - paradise city
* Duran Duran - Hungry life the wolf
* Pearl Jam - Alive
* Ram Jam - black Betty
* Encore: Thin Izzy - the boys are back in Town

Section 2:
* U2 - new Years Day
* Nirvana - Smells like teen spirit
* Coheed and cambria - Favor House Atlantic
* Free - Alright now
* Encore: the Eagles - Hotel California
* Boss: Eric Chaplin - Cocaine

Section 3:
* Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet home Alabama
* Pink Floyd - careful with that Axe Eugene
* Linkin Park - In the End
* Alkaline Trio - Time to Waste
* Encore: Iron Maiden - Invaders

Section 4:
* Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze
* Black Sabbath - Iron Man
* Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter
* Micheal Jackson - Beat it
* Encore: Def Leppard - Pour some Sugar on me

Section 5:

* Breaking Benjamin - Blow me Away
* AC/DC - Back in black
* Tenacious D - Tribute
* Encore: Metallica - Fade to Black
* Boss: Jimi Hendrix - All Along the Watchtower

Section 6:
* Aerosmith - Dream on
* Say Anything - Alive with the Glory of Love
* sublime - Santeria
* Scorpions - No one like you
* Encore: Ozzy Osbourne - Crazy Train

Section 7:
* Iron Maiden - Run to the Hills
* Audioslave - Shadow on the Sun
* Def Leppard - Pour some sugar on me
* Pink Floyd - Another brick in the wall
* Encore: Metallica - Blackened

Section 8:
* Slayer - Angel of Death
* Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb
* Metallica - Ride the lightning
* Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven
* Boss: Van Halen - Eruption (extended)

Check it out, it was a good game. I like the idea of having Ride the Lightning in there, but Stairway to Heaven needs to be the final song in the game.

it is the last song, unless you mean you want it as the boss battle. but thats too easy. you need the last boss battle to be hard so why not eruption by Van halen.
So stairway to heaven is the last song in the (fake) game.

Some great songs on that list I was really hoping somebody else thought that Crazy Train, Alive, Back In Black, Comfortably Numb and Eruption would be great additions to the franchise.

My Favourite list I've seen.

Other songs I'd like are November Rain, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, and Free Bird. Again. It's so good it deserves to be in another Guitar Hero game.

Oh and its Eric Clapton not Eric Chaplin, and you should put Eddie Van Halen as the boss instead of Van Halen. Just trying to help =P

sorry about the spelling mistake for Eric, and I didn't put eddie because you sort of know who van halen is i didn't think i'd need to put his first name.

i don't like it, here's why.

main reasons, you use some bands twice... why? i don't like that. and some songs are on in previes guitar hero's.

Section 1:

good, but... put paradise city in tier 2.

Section 2:

put nirvana in tier one. he is so easy, its not even funny. switch him with guns n' roses.

take away micheal jackson. fck no, this is GUITAR hero, not pop hero. and iron man is in guitar hero one.

* AC/DC - Back in black
* Tenacious D - Tribute
* Encore: Metallica - Fade to Black
* Boss: Jimi Hendrix - All Along the Watchtower

why duran duran again, use didfferent bands. and put ac/dc and metallica in higher tiers. and why jimi again?

Section 6:

no one like you is in guitar hero 80's. and aerosmith should be lower.

Section 7:

again, why using the same bands twice. guitar hero 1, 2, 80's, and 3 didn't do it?

this isn't an official list, this is just what I WOULD WANT, so i CAN use a band more than once if i have too.

Why duran duran? Why not. I like the band, so i put it.
Why Jimi hendrix? again, why not? he's a guitar legend.
And Micheal Jackson, i can see why you don't want it, but it has guitar in it.
Nirvana might be easy to you but not to others.

very harsh opinionated criticism.
maybe to you its a boring list but to everybody else here, they seem to like it so go and make your own list. don't complain about songs just because you don't like duran duran or jimi hendrix.

yes, i know i should have calmed down, you just came in and just pointed out every downside and not the good ones.

its just this is what my list would look like, so i could use a second song from the same band if i like.

And I must have been high or something because the "again" was not there the first reading.

Pretty good list, but in my opinion Guitar Hero 4 will be incomplete without Megadeth- Holy Wars/The Punishment Due

Paradise City is also really hard near the end, so it should be later in the list.

Don't call this sh-t. It's the most balanced list I've seen for GH4. Sure, it may have some artist repeats, but it's a great list. It would be really fun to play, and it has almost no bad songs. So, I suggest you consider your opinion before forcing it on others, and you'll do just fine, okay?

i'm talking about the thread.... not the list. the thread is old, which in my book, should stay old, or should stay in the last few pages in this board, and you bump it, which i find odd imo. then again, usually people find old topics that are more interesting, and feel the need to post... despite the fact its old, which is what i'm implying to, to begin with.

and i like the list btw, but i am talking about bumping the thread.

Either way, this is the best GH4 list I've ever seen. I'm not exaggerating; there are so many songs that would be fun to play.
