Can anybody see anything? LOL!

Is it just me, or does this show have a lot of dark scenes? Even during the day, when scenes are in house, it's dark and lots of shadows are used. But you can see that it's sunny outside the window. Even my wife made a comment... "Why is this TV so dark?" Got me panicking. I flipped to a basketball game to see all the bright colors, to make sure all is fine with my TV. LOL!

So a few minutes after I posted this, guess what happens next? I'm on episode 4, they go into a dark poker room. LOL!

I'm watching this in a room with low ambient light level on a properly calibrated display and it looks just fine.

Maybe it's time to calibrate your TV.

My display fine, I'm just being hyperbolic. LOL! But the point is there are so many dark scenes, right? I'm sure the dark settings and tones are on purpose to the theme of the show.

I fell asleep in like 30 mins because it was all just black.

I had the same problem with "The Walking Dead". The whole show was dark and washed out of any color. It got to be such drudgery on my eyes I didn't like to even watch the show. I really dislike shows that do that to us, TV is a visual medium and our eyes crave detail and resolution.

That poker scene is a pretty good one, though. The whole service at that house is super weird. I loved how Josh Brolin speaks with his eyes. And the devil's story. Fitted super well with the atmosphere.
