ANOTHER killer Santa Claus movie?

-Silent Night, Deadly Night

-Santa Claws

-Christmas Evil

-Satan Claus

Don't you think that's enough killer Santa movies?

Do we really need another one?

This is not Santa Clause. It's Sinterklaas, a Dutch holiday icon. It has almost nothing in common with Santa Claus, except that he delivers gifts once a year.

Sinterklaas is a holyman that commes once a year (December 5th and 6th) on a boat togheter with his "Zwarte Pieten" (Black helpers) and walks the rooftops on his horse. Good kids get gifts and bad kids he puts in his bag. And there's more ofcourse.

I just didn't want to be a loser anymore.

In my country we have a similar tradition, but it is heavily connected to religion. It's about St. Nicolas and good kids receive sweets,money or toys in their boots and bad ones get a switch(I think that's what it's called). Anyway, to get to the point, isn't this movie heritical? I haven't seen it, that's true, but from the look of it, it completely staines the image of St. Nicolas.

St. Nicholas and Sinterklaas are the same character.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to name them "Black helpers". I was just trying to describe what they are.

Zwarte Piet is "Black Peter", not "Black helpers".

Don't forget Christmas Evil (AKA You Better Watch Out!). And Don't Open Till Christmas isn't really a 'killer Santa' movie. It's about a killer targeting people dressed up as Santa Claus, if I remember correctly.

Oh, and you can never have too many killer Santa movies. ;)

The movies you listed are cheesy B movies. Sint is a GOOD movie. And it's about Sinterklaas and the Black Peters. (No, that's not a blues band.)

Yeah but this is definitely a hilarious one. People watching it have to remember that it's a Dutch film making fun of Dutch traditions. Love the blood and gore - it made it a thousand times funnier!

Silent Night Deadly Night and Christmas Evil don't actually feature a 'killer Santa', just killers who dress up as Santa. Slightly different.
