The new OSS 117 starring Jean Dujardin as OSS 117 now has an official US Release title:OSS 117: LOST IN RIO. The film had it's US theatrical premiere in LA at the French Film Festival there on April 25th, 2009. Variety gave a very good review of the film, by stating that the new OSS 117 sequel is just as hilarious as the first one. The film that has just been released in France on April 15th, is doing so well there, that the film's producers are now preparing a third OSS:117 staring Dujardin to start production early next year The soundtrack of the new second OSS 117 by film composer Ludovic Bource, who also co-composed the music for the previous OSS 117 film, is now available to download to your MP3 thru Amazon Music.

From what I heard on the Internet, Music Box Films which was the US distribution company that released the previous OSS117 film last year here in the US with great success, is making deals with the makers of the new OSS 117 to get the US theatrical distribution rights in order to release the film here later this year. Therefore we OSS117 fans should hear soon of a US theatrical release date, but just like the previous OSS117 film, the sequel will probably go on a arthouse cinema US release like the first film did last year.
