Male Nudity

One thing that you basically don't see on soft core cable is male penises. This is taken to ridiculous levels -- you don't even see full frontal nudity in showers or quick shots when they get undressed or are getting out of bed in the morning. I can't believe that it is somehow a violation of standards to have every bit of a female shown, but even a quick shot of a penis is verboten!

In fact, I actually caught two shots of penis in the last few months from various perusual of late night porn. I'm not watching these things straight thru (and am not talking about let's say Real Sex documentary stuff), but they were surprising enough (at least one was on this program, both took place after sex, the guy lying face up next to the woman) to be notable.

Some might say -- are you a homosexual? But, two things. (1) Females do watch these programs (2) Showing male nudity does help the fantasy, since some viewers do imagine "they are there." Also, the avoidance is so blatant that it is ridiculous.

As a side issue, it amuses me that sex never seems to be too messy on these shows. They repeatedly just get dressed afterward, sometimes seeing friends or others in social or work situations, and don't have to worry about sweat or cum.

You're completely wrong about the old "why don't they show penises argument". That's a total BS argument. First, we DON'T see everything of women. Usually, most films only show women topless. On rare occasions, we get to see a woman frontally nude, but that is just her bush (pubic hair). A woman frontally nude is less explicit than a man frontally nude since female genitalia cannot be seen from that position. Actual female genitalia (labia or anus) is NEVER shown in any R-rated, mainstream film. If women are naked great care is taken to ensure they are in a position so that their vagina CANNOT be seen. We never see a woman in a natural position with her legs apart, or bent-over, or doggie-style, or squatting, or any other position where her vagina could be seen.

However, penises ARE shown. Just look at films and tv series like Bruno, Walk Hard, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Spartacus, Oz, etc. There are numerous MAINSTREAM movies and cable series that show dick....the women and gays don't even need to rent softcore films or porns to see it. We men are forced to rent softcore porn or hardcore porn to see female genitalia. How many mainstream movies show actual female genitalia labia/vulva or anus (not just pubic hair, which ISN'T the genitalia)? Women can go to a mainstream movie at their local Cinemaplex and watch Sex and the City and see a big dick. But we men can only see pussy in porn/softcore porn films. How unfair is that?!

What we need is more full female genitalia being shown. If men's penises and balls can be shown in mainstream R-rated movies, then why are women's vaginas and anuses verbotten? Co-Ed Confidential is about the only cable series that shows full female genitalia and it is considered "softcore porn" and would probably be rated NC-17 by the MPAA. Until we start seeing vaginas on mainstream cable and in R-rated films (just like penises have been shown) we won't have real fairness.

First, I'm not talking mainstream films here, but soft core porn. But, if you want to focus on that, the average "R" rated film often has female nudity, if usually of the breast or ass variety, and very rarely male full frontal nudity. The fact you can find a few exceptions (any mostly recent at that) doesn't change this. Fact is, normally, any nudity will be of women.

In soft porn on cable, my concern here, I simply have not seen much cock. Oz and Spartacus (cheers for equal opportunity depravity) is not really soft porn, is it? As to soft porn, again, there is very rarely cock. OTOH, there is plenty of female nudity, including repeated crotch shots -- usually, shaved, but plenty of them.

I don't understand why -- even if they don't "spread eagle" (and sometimes, legs are spread etc.) -- a woman's crotch is less explicit than a penis. Anyway, Co-ed Confidential is not the only place I saw it. And, if it isn't showed, they surely don't show cock. They sometimes show ass of guys, but even there, it is more likely they show female ass. Yes, they don't show a close-up of the actual anus, but this is an equal opportunity deprivation.

It's about the genitalia, not the full frontal. Onthese type of programs, you actually see more male genitalia than female.

I don't know -- in my mind and according to the dictionary that word means "sexual organs." I think many people basically think penis or vagina there. You see more female genitalia if that is what it means. There is a decent amount of shots of the outside; very few penis shots -- the male is often not shown much at all.

Makes sense, since more straight guys watch porn, and they want to watch women. Even if they wouldn't mind a bit of guy, in part to imagine it is them. So, there still would be more female genitalia.

I don't think of it that way, but maybe chest and ass fit in too. Again, you see more female ass (though it's more even here). You also see plenty of breasts. More than male chest, though again, it's more even there.

I watched part of Co-ed Confidential just last night. Two lesbian scenes. A scene of the blonde topless while talking to a dressed guy. And so forth. Another star (whose father is played by Randy Spears) is topless lots a times. You don't see much of whomever she is having sex with. Another channel. A movie about "busty cops" -- the focus is apparent. Another channel recently. A take-off on "Devil Wears Prada," lots of lesbian stuff.

Sure, there are programs or some random movie, especially those focusing on guys (like a prison show or Hung -- I guess; never watched it), that show more male stuff. But, overall, porn is female focused on the nudity front.

Because women are a work of art and men are gross
