Okay, here is a double standard. Im not attacking you and your view, but just want to make a point.

We really do not want to have it both ways, people say, "i would never lie, i would never lie" so naturally we saying 'your lying cause everyone does'. However, the truth only works when one gains something out of it. If we told the truth 24-7, this world would burn so quick.

So we keep telling one another 'honesty is the best policy' but its not. We do however, sell our 'little white lies' under the idea that it won't hurt anyone. Not sure what is worth the lie or the truth, but i honestly can not blame her. She lied to herself and wrapped it around true feelings, we all do that. She just wanted to cash in, she fell for the first rule of a Con:

If you let them think they are in control, then they are already in your pocket.

She assumed she was in control, she assumed she was smarter, which she fell for the second rule of a Con.

If they think your dumb and their smart, you still have them in your pocket.

I cut her slack only cause this should (with any luck) have humbled her forever. For men it takes a near death beating, women its a public trail by peers. But if her husband Johhny Law stays with her, than he is a member of a long line of dumb cops.
