Anyone else seen this episode?

Throughout the first 15 episodes and the 2 movies I've watched, Duke appears to ride a very fine grey line between good guy / bad guy. It's all about the cash for him but he's got a strict ruleset and if you don't screw up, you're not going to get capped.

Along comes this episode and well,.. if you've seen it - why do you think he did it? I don't get it TBH.

He killed him because he recognised one of Golgo 13's patterns and how to find him, and because he may eventually become an issue if he were ever to find a way to arrest Golgo.
