Why not a Queen?

They always want to look like a princess when they marry. Why not a queen? Victoria was already a queen when she married Albert and she started the white wedding dress business. Go for the top job ladies!

This is always an interesting conversation. Basically, both titles exude different feelings and visuals. To me; A princess is young, beautiful, regal, romantic but doesn't have the responsibility of being a leader. A Queen, on the other had, envisions someone older, regal but tied down to responsibility. In other words, is boring.

I am not saying being either a princess or a queen are bad or anything like that; just why people prefer to be called a princess, especially if they are young and fresh eyed brides. I am 38 never married and am starting to refer and see myself as a queen as opposed to the princess. with my age and experience with life (heart break and things like that), the title seems to fit better :)
