I disagree. I enjoyed the twist, finally something different!
Having seen a lot of suspense/psychological thrillers and horror movies I was expecting two possible endings as they seem to happen alot in these kinda movies:
1. The one who kidnapped Cassie comes back to torment her more and he is playing with her at the cabin. A "final showdown" happens and result (most probable) in Cassie somehow killing him and walking out of the cabin barely alive.
2. All this is her imagination being alone and paranoid in the middle of nowhere, as she is not over her traumatic experience yet. These things simply did not happen (the things at the cabin) and she gets put in an institution, or wakes up from a mental hospital.
Edit: Just found out there were two endings, wth LOL. The one I saw, the last scene was Cassie kissing Dan/Rhett at school. Have to look up the one with the other ending, I wanna see it. Whats the point of two endings? How can one rate a movie that has two completely different endings, no wonder this movie has "low rating"...
