So I went in blind thinking this was a Christmas Horror comedy, boy was I ever wrong. I'm actually kind of proud of myself for sitting though the whole thing.

totally agree . I thought i was watching the 2023 movie of same name.
turned off half way through - there was no way it was going to get any better .
apparently there was a twist re the littel subplot where everyone is going to die
Yes, indeed! They really released a movie without any car chases. How dare they?
But wait, moviechatterer rings a certain bell, the sheeple-bell. And yes, the life of sheeple as presented in the movie IS boring. The good thing (little spoiler alert) :
They all die in the end. So a real happy end.
I can live without car chases ,
but a bunch of unlikeable people squabbling about nothing for 2 hours doesent float my boat.
I know that cos i checked by watching the first hour.
Al the other "tonight we all die" films have been great , but this one just didnt cut it.
