RIDICULOUS! Do not watch! *spoilers*

I won't even mention the acting in my gripes...

1. Unintentionally funny as numerous moments, peeing in a suitcase, defecating on a church floor, "wife, prepare yourself for me"

You'd think would save it, but no, also...

2. Sound unbelievably annoying. Everything everyone else on these boards is saying is completely true, one minute it sounds like someone is talking right next to you in the bathroom, the next line they're hanging out upstairs trying to whisper something to you. So annoying.

3. The music switches from a one-note key sequence on a piano to a semi-creepy atmospheric nonsense.

4. Choppy editing leaves you looking at the same shots of the creepy mother spliced in with screams (that always seem to come right when you've turned the volume way up to hear the dialogue)

3. And worst of all... NOT a true story! The musings on the screen seem earnest but are in fact a rip-off of BWP (to say the least) and completely not true. There's absolutely no truth to the movie. The ten minutes after the movie when you wonder hmm, is it true? are great but then you go online and realize it and it just makes you pissed off that you wasted almost 2 hours...(clearly i'm in the throes of this as we speak).

4. Honestly I think this would have made a good ghost story if it wasn't written in this mockumentary half-ass style

Oh man the sound editing was awful. I mean, the video quality being poor, I understand. Not everyone can afford a thousand dollar camera. But, in my opinion, there should be no excuse for THAT awful sound quality/editing. Whoever looked over the sound really needed to do an audio check.

Otherwise, I thought it wasn't THAT bad. I actually was somewhat entertained. It was a tad long though...I started looking at the timer and almost crapped my dress when I saw that it had been running for 140 minutes.

It wasn't anything incredible, but it definitely isn't the worst I've seen. Did creep me out so I was happy. Although it's not hard to freak me out when it comes to ghost stories, I'm a total pansy. I dare all of you to see Zombie Nation. It's so awful I almost want to buy it so I can prove to my friends that I'm not being a film snob.

The person who mixed this movie should REALLY keep their day job. Hopefully that is not their day job.

You should drop your number three since BWP wasn't real either. I can see where 1,2 and 4 are coming from though.

i in fact did enjoy this movie very much, it was creepy at parts which i loved. the screaming as you said when you just turned the volume up to hear dialog was indeed annoying. the part that bothered me the most as did with so many other people is that like the blair witch it is portrayed to be a true story which in thinking so makes the movie indeed that much scarier but than you get a bit disappointed once you learn that it is in fact not a true story. but enjoyed it just the same :D

Wow, worst piece of acting since...well...anything Keanu Reeves is in. That Latina chick, Yvette, the journalist or whatever, ruined and blew any chance of anyone thinking this might be real. And that spiritual bitch, too. Not that I believe ANY of this crap, but with acting like this, it also ruins the entertainment of it all.

Although Yvette did have some nice jiggly boobies.

She was the absolute worst actress Ive ever seen and I don't say that lightly. It was like they just pulled the first person that walked by the set and asked them if they wanted to be in a movie.

I was worried there was something wrong with my tv! The sound was so messed up...I couldn't hear most of the dialogue, so I'd turn it up to be able to hear it, and the high pitched random screams would come in. It was really obnoxious. At one point I thought I'd put on the subtitles and just leave the sound as it was, but alas...no subtitles.
