One word... Netflix... hahaha. That's how I saw it. One nice thing about Netflix is you pick or watch one movie they'll list some other movies. Sometimes their list is a bit odd, but I have found some interesting movies this way.
That is how I stumbled across this movie. I just finished watching it on their website, actually. Other than the horrible sound editing, I really quite liked it.
I think if one is pre-disposed towards the horror / dark fantasy genre in general, then they may have an easier time appreciating this film (as is the case with me).
Someone commented on another thread that this movie was a "Blair Witch" rip-off, which I found amusing, as the movie even addressed that (with tongue firmly in cheek, I'm assuming). Remember the scene between Colin (the camera man) and Yvette (the reporter)? They were goofing around with the camera in the master bedroom after they had finished burning one and Yvette grabbed the camera momentarily and did a vague Heather Donahue impression which resulted in stoned laughter. One of the few scenes in the movie that wasn't intense.
Anyhow, I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to any horror fan - nothing ground-breaking, but certainly fun.
