The American Mall VS. High School Musical

ok so I'm a fan of both movies, however I think that the executive producers of HSM that made The American Mall kinda took the plot line of HSM and just re-worked some of it. To create a bit more mature, edgier version of HSM. Who agrees with me?
Some similarities that I noticed while watching The American Mall was:
1. Pretty much every character in HSM has a counterpart in The American Mall. For example some that I noticed were: Troy=Joey, Gabriella=Ally, Sharpay=Madison, Chad=Ricky, Taylor=Penny/Mia, Jason&Zeke=Drew&Stavros, Sharpay's Girls=Madison's Girls.
2. All the songs that are sang in The American Mall kinda follow the same layout as those in HSM. For example, Every 10 Seconds=Get'Cha Head In The Game, At The Mall=Stick To The Status Quo, Sorry's Not Enough=When There Was Me And you/Gotta Go My Own Way, Get Your Rock On=We're All In This Together/All For One, New You=Fabulous/You Are The Music In Me(Sharpay Version), Clear&Dreaming Wide Awake=Breaking Free&Everyday, Don't Hold Back=We're All In This Together/All For One.
3. As well you can see that the songs that are similar are also sung by the characters that portray their counterparts in each movie. For example, Every 10 Seconds are sung by the janitors, while Get'Cha Head In The Game is sung by the basketball team, ETC.
4. Also, Bonnie one of the dance instructors works on BOTH HSM and The American Mall.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is that both movies are fantastic. Just if you are going to make a movie similar to HSM DON'T take the storyline and just find new names for the characters, write new songs for the characters to sing, and follow a very similar plot.

Other than all my putdowns about how the 2 movies are pretty much very similar both are ABSOLUTLEY POSITIVELY FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!! If you have not seen The American Mall, WHAT ARE YOU DOING??? go and at least rent it for crying out loud. You won't regret it.

BEST MOVIE THIS YEAR........UNTIL HSM3 COMES OUT!!!WOOT WOOT.
