This moive kinda left some loose ends to tie up and I hope that they make a sequel, I will defenitly watch it for sure!!

I'm with you. I would love a sequal! I don't like the idea about Maddie, but they need to answer the other two questions.
shareI didn't like the ending to the movie. The alternate ending actually answered one of those questions. You see TVs playing a music video by Joey's band, The Janitors, and obviously Ally is going to New England Conservatory (that was the whole reason she wanted to tell her mom she wants to sing). The sequel would probably be about Ally at NEC (think 'Fame').

In 2008 MTV I guess was trying to make they're own "High School Musical" and make a successful franchise. A sequel was considered if the film premiered to successful ratings. But the film barely had good ratings and under 500,000 viewers had watched the premiere. The planned franchise would've been cancelled because of it's unsuccessful debut.
