Not good, not bad

The modern day setting made a refreshing change, as did the lack of physical alteration - there's no particular reason an evil man should look hideous and simian.

But there were far too many weaknesses. Since when does a lawyer attend a new client wearing jeans? Oh yeah - when she's planning to commit the felony of breaking in to his home. But then, as she breaks in alone and unarmed, to a house where someone who has admitted to being a brutal mass murderer is known to be in residence, disbarment and prison would be the least of her worries.

And Jekyll himself is a pretty nasty piece of work. We're supposed to be dealing with Mr Good and Mr Bad here, not Mr Bad and Mr Very Bad.

Good points. I surprisingly kinda liked this film. Though I did feel a little sorry for Jekyll, he did seem shady.

Set in modern times & nobody in the story commented on his name, as though the story never existed before?
