That might be in my top ten in the 'lack of imagination' catagory. What is the fun in winning a couple hundred at black jack when you have $110 mil?

It's not like they went and lived there for six months, they just had a week or two of harmless fun.
And I doubt that they bought a private jet; it's more likely that they rented it. And you know, renting a jet for $15,000 or so for a family of four isn't all that much more expensive than buying four first-class tickets.

I make a six-figure salary but I still get together with friends one a month and play penny-ante poker. On a good night I can make $15 or so.
It's the game that's important, not the amount that you spend.
