She says she is because she knows her parents/family would watch this.. she comes from a very religious backround and if they ever found out that she had sex before marriage they'd be pretty disapointed in her.. so it comes from fear more than anything else.

Because she can still say "Well yeah we fooled around.. but we never had sex.. cause I'm a virgin."

I hate it when people do that. It may very well be that she's never actually had sex...but HAS done everything else :-/

I'm pretty sure her parents know she's not a virgin. My friend worked with her and she ended up getting fired for sleeping with her supervisor.
