The second season of Spice and Wolf (the correct name, in both English and Japanese) has been announced as of October 5, 2008.

The same director and writer will return, but the art & animation has been handed over to Brain Base, instead of IMAGIN which did the first season.

Season 1 covered two books of the eight-book light novel series. Speculation by fans based on the content of the novel series implies that the second season should cover the next two books.

There's no indication on when season 2 will be aired in Japan.

i have been watching this show at my friends house for awhile and i am really thirsty for more, lol and it really have catched my attention so i want more.

i have a question: is there going to be a SEASON 3 for this show

netflix only has season 1

well my friend already has seasons 1 & 2 on blueray, so i was just wondering if they were going to have season 3 soon. plus im not into netflix, im mosly a movie downloader kind

Don't pirate, dude... let the actors and crew make some money (yes, even voice actors will often get residuals (paid for played), and it may only be a few cents each time an episode is played on Netflix, but that adds up, and that's not even beginning to talk about movie sales (dvd/blu-ray).
When it comes to music, I'm a little more relaxed, as many people I know in national touring acts say they see virtually nothing from album sales, they make most of their money from live shows and swag.
...but when it comes to movies and books, cut 'em a break, yeah? At the _very_ least, if you like it, go buy it.
