Loved this documentary. I hope that Volume One is not a misnomer and there will be more of them.

Yeah, I loved it too. I looked at Sanders' imdb thingy and it didn't include a 2nd volume ... I hope it will soon.

I LOVED this documentary. I thought it was one of the most inspiring pieces that I've ever saw. To see so many Black figures in one space, giving thier own interpretations and insights on what put them where they are today and why they do what they do.

I found myself being especially inspired by Toni Morrison, Keenan Ivory Wayans, Lou Gossit Jr, Colin Powell, Susan RIce, Bill T. Jones and Suan Lori Parks.

Each person touched me in their own way but those ppl I felt the most from as they spoke.

I hope that this is something that ppl of all races can see and appreciate.

i agree. bill t jones was just great, so was susan lori parks. ugh i hope theres another one!
