I loved it

I rented this film purely based on the allure of the cover art and JAMES RUSSO; I stumbled upon a low budget gem. Russo and the film's lead, Frank Krueger, set the ultra-dark tone in the murderous opening scene with their minimalistic acting styles packed with maximum intensity. The marshal arts choreography was truly beautiful and sharply executed, The dialogue is quirky and daring "I *beep* fatter, for free" -(Michael Madsen) and The cinematography is a collection of brilliant paintings. This film delivered precisely what the cover art and synopsis alluded to---a COMIC BOOK COME TO LIFE. I highly recommend this film if not for the aforementioned reasons then simply for its disturbingly refreshing FUN!

so what you are really saying is, you have terrible taste in movies, or more specifically, simply have no idea what constitutes a good movie.

Break is terrible. bad acting, bad writing, bad direction, poor action, (bad as it gets) amateurish sound and picture. The script is so awkward, the plot ludicrous.

Go to some pimp pervert drug dealer and ask for a "little gun" then whore yourself out for a POS derringer not worth $100. (Not to mention he knocked $10,000 off his fee for the opportunity alone.)

It is so bad that one could assume Uwe Boll's sphincter made Break all by itself.

spoiler alert:

Well it isn't as polished as it could have been, but based on the small budget I think they did a great job, as for the script and plot i don't see anything wrong with it, It had a bit of everything and was very enjoyable.

Just one question:
At the very end when the main character takes a 2nd glance at his drink - do you think he was poisoned by the girl?????????

After all he did kill her father that way, whether she did or not the ending was good but that way wud have been better, was left unsaid tho :(

I wondered the same thing about the ending. The fighting scenes were pretty generic, especially when the woman was fighting. The movie was about 5.5/10 in my opinion. Not horrible, but nothing to write home about.
