Aussie and Ted is a disappointment

Aussie and Ted a Disappointment!
Aussie, a lovable Australian mutt, embarks on a mission to return his young owner's missing Teddy Bear. Saw this film at a screening and was very disappointed. The photography was extremely amateur, and the HD Format used gave the project a very TV-like look. Also, I was confused why this project was filmed in the HD format but screened in what looked like a 1.85 aspect ratio. First off, the dog which is the star of the film is a beautiful purebred BEAGLE. It is not a MUTT by any means. It doesn't get any better either.
Dean Cain is more seasoned than this. All the other actors/players seem too aware that they are being filmed. The young Asian boy is seen looking right into the camera on several occasions.
Low budget shows throughout.
