Thought it was a great premise. The pacing might be a bit off, and they left lots of unknowns, and a fwe holes. But it was a good watch.

Hmmm, we are talking about sea rises as a danger and suddenly earth starts losing water for some reason?

And plain water is recreating itself out of nothing because it is "lunar water"? And still it's nothing but water (H2O) that it's lunar?? And the mass conservation law is out of the window, let's say that water "can" replicate itself: still something needs to be consumed to produce that replication ...

Not really.

It's not "fantasy". It's still fiction based on science. Otherwise there is no need to be called "science" fiction.

A good science "fiction" still stays confined in the laws of physics and if something goes beyond it's explained why it happens like that. Not so much in this movie. It just happens because ... it happens ...
