The thing that irritates me most about this show is that they rarely seem to provide actual solutions for the problems they are supposed to be solving. In fact, the only instance I can think of was earthquake proofing a building using an existing earthquake proofing technology.

When I have watched the show, I end up frustrated thinking 'why the hell would you do that?!'

Yeah, I agree. Frequently their solutions are worse than the problems. They frequently bypass fairly obvious solutions and come up with stupid and dangerous things that had little to no chance of working.

How close to killing someone do you think they came with their rocket solution to stop a trailer?
