A mass effort to discredit the movie

I'm not entirely sure why some are so against change and peace. Too much of the mob mentality koolaid? The nasty comments made about the movie proves the point that some like not having to learn...anything.

These people shun the poor; lie about and mistreat gays; don't want Mexicans to enter into what was once rightfully theirs - e.g.Tejas (Texas); don't want kids to learn about sex or to learn a different language; think they're fooling people when they say they're not racist (they say instead it's disdain for President Obama because he's a "Socialist" even though 1 - they probably don't know what it means and 2 - the last president was completely out of control and they said nothing for 8 years); they've allowed insurance companies to be their pimps and think Fox News is in any way credible; they push people into thinking America is actually a Christian nation and scream "Bigotry!" when they think they won't be able to talk openly in their churches about killing gays; they think Sarah Palin is intelligent and Glen Beck knows what he's talking about...

And this is just a very recent history of nonsense and resistance from the same voices that have forever mistreated and abhored anyone not white, male, and heterosexual.

The People Speak is a fantastic and poignant film - don't miss it.

Because they have no problem with believing everything they're fed by the people in power. Those screaming about socialism evidently skipped out on junior high civics. Otherwise they'd realize that there's no way in hell the people in power would ever want to change our government to socialism. If they did, they'd lose all their prestige, power, and money, and they'd be no different than the rest of us. Revolution doesn't start from the top down; it starts with the little guy fighting to get a piece of the pie. There'd be no reason at all for an American politician to give up all that they have to be like us. One thing this film shows is that there have always been people willing to discriminate against and hate anyone who believes differently than they do. Luckily, there have also always been a strong few that refused to accept injustice.

Those screaming "socialism" wouldn't know an actual socialist if he slapped them upside their head.

These are people who get all their disinformation from FOX news and then cry about other people being biased. That's fresh.
