Is there gonna be a third movie?
Seen the two films and quite like them. Does anyone know whether there is a third installment coming?
shareUnfortunately it doesn't look like it. The movies were pretty good and a lot of fun but they didn't do very well at the box office. I talked to one of the writers and he was hoping they could take the third movie to a different studio and get it made, but I wouldn't hold your breath. The 3rd movie was to be the Mystery of the Silver Spider. I think the filmmakers should be proud of what they did though. Fun stuff!

We were really looking forward to The Silver Spider as it kind of wrapped up everything and would have been a nice close to the series of films, but regrettably it will not be made at this point.

I think of all the artists, Harry Kane's take is the one I've pictured in my mind as I've been reading through the series recently (read some of them in the early to mid 80s growing up and have bought copies of most of the books on eBay the past couple of years and started reading through them chronologically). I've watched both of the movies and enjoyed them. Jupiter and Bob didn't look quite like I would've expected, but got past it quickly. Wish they'd make a third one.
