My childhood said Boo!

I am avid reader and have been since 1st grade. It was in 2nd grade I discovered the 3 Investigators series and read every dang one. This led me to read larger and more mature novels so i was up to Stephen King by grade 6.

I also became a lifelong Hitchcock fan because of these books.

I haven't thought of Jupiter and pals for 25 years. I'm glad to see they made an impression on others as well.

i was waiting for such movies all of my life, the egyptians used to make similar mystery adventure books that i loved as teenager. they some how have different taste than agatha christy work, when the investigators are teenagers. i think there is something similar with female teenage investigator in a movie.

Yep. I remember reading those books myself. It was quite a surprise to find this movie at the video store.

I learned to read with theses books (over forty years ago). I did not even know they made these movies. I was watching Jupiter Ascending and the main characters name is Jupiter Jones. That made me google.

No Sitcoms! No Sports! No Reality!

Just learned of these movies recently, they have never been released here in Canada, or aired on TV to my knowledge. I'm watching them both on YouTube. Not the ideal versions I've always envisioned back when I read them in the early 80's, but a pretty good effort. I just wish they were given the big screen treatment us fans are longing for. They would be huge with fans of Goosebumps or The Goonies, if done properly.

There has been an awakening. Have you felt it?
