This is just a watered down version of the 1999 movie

I was so disappointed when seeing this one. I thought that they may have gotten creative and tried another storyline, but no, they just captured the 1999 version storyline and just made it shorter and less involving.

I so loved the original with the finding of the lost city of Atlantis and the giant mushrooms gradually growing from tiny ones. I loved that idea and the redo in 1999 really wasn't that bad at all, but I don't understand why they even made this one. No new storyline direction, nothing really thrilling at all. I would have to say as a fan, I was pretty peeved on this one.
