I watched this film without subtitles so I only got superficial parts of the plot. Why did Sammo and the blue haired dude fight at the end? I Thought they were part of the same gang.

They knew it was the end. Wu Jing, the blue hair guy, is a complete badass..... he heard that sammo's character was a great fighter so he wanted to see for himself since it was all gonna be over for them.
