Where to get this?

If this movie is so great how come I can't find it anywhere? It isn't in any local stores in my area, not even video stores, and its not on amazon.com either. Hell I can't even find it on torrent. Edit: It's not on E-bay either, nor is it available under the [watch on blockbuster] link here. All I can find ANYWHERE is the 1980s movie of the same title.

So just where do I get this movie (much less the sequel) from? Or is this movie just for the elite few who have been lucky enough to see it? >.<

This actually makes me kind of annoyed seeing links all over the web for stellar reviews, and no way to watch the damn thing. Being a Romero fan, I expected better than to be left hanging.

Edit:October 26th, 2011

I revise my first post. Now I know the reason it was so hard to find this movie. It's pretty much crap. The people who originally rated/reviewed it very likely gave it such glowing praise mainly to make other people jealous they couldn't watch it. After finally finding and watching volume 1, I can tell you it was worth neither the wait, the trouble of finding it, nor the anticipation.

I can't speak for volume 2, but I can tell you based on my opinion of volume 1, I won't be seeking it out.

Listen to the review by Terry Roehrig II, they sum things up perfectly.

And what's with the plot outline on here anyways? Must be summarizing volume 2, because it certainly has nothing to do with volume 1.

Doesn't seem like it's been released on DVD yet. Can't even find a bootleg.

Netflix instant watcher. BUT It's terrible though. Just awful.

Both Volume 1 and 2, which are listed wrong on IMDb, in a somewhat switched way, while some of the info isn't switched or half switched or totally wrong. Very confusing. I consider this film page to be for the first volume considering the majority of the info points to that.

I just downloaded it on the playstation network, haven't watched it yet though.EDIT - Just finished up with the movie I rented titled "Deadtime Stories Vol. 1". It has George Romero introducing each story, but on imdb it doesn't match up with the synopsis for either part 1 or part 2 (though the synopsis for part 2 has two out of the three stories right). The version I watched started with "In The Valley Of The Shadow". This story was by far the weakest of the three. The special effects were lousy and the acting was atrocious. I give it an F overall.Next up is a story titled "Wet". Much better effort. I'm not big on mermaid tales, but it had some creepy scenes and the makeup value is quite a bit better. A solid B+ for this one.The last short is called "Housecall". This one, directed by Tom Savini, was well done also. Though Savini didn't partake in the special effects department, you knew he wouldn't allow substandard makeup to fly. Nice atmosphere and build up, if not for a bit of overacting (but that can be said for all 3 titles). Grade for this one is a B+, also. It looks like a straight to dvd movie right out of the box, and though nowhere near the quality of "Creepshow" if you go in expecting campy fun (and your curiosity doesn't force you to watch the first episode), you will probably have a good time.

I rented it last night at my local video store and it was horribly boring. Read the Fearnet review, which is dead on correct. Three awful stories - Romero should be embarrassed to have his name connected with them.

You can get it on the PlayStation Store.

Best Buy has it on DVD for ten dollars.

I wish I had the time back that I wasted to watch this dribble. Anyways, if you have Netflix streaming, you can watch it on there. That is where I saw it.
