VINCERE - funny, interesting review...

That review sums up my feelings and thoughts about "Vincere." I went out of my way to see this yesterday as part of the New Orleans Film Festival. There is no resemblance between the actor, Mr. Timi, and Benito Mussolini. I wanted to feel some sympathy for Ida Dalser but came away feeling unmoved. That should not have been. It's certainly great material but I felt cheated. The director's fault? I am disappointed. I was looking for something greater than this.
