ENDING?

OK, I should feel embarrassed to even be posting this given I liked NOTHING about this film.
Still I wasted my time & wanted to know what the meaning was (if there's any to be had) and WHAT was that ending?

I do not see this posted or maybe haven't dug deep enough.

From the little I've read, I gleaned many persons have stated it's all just a "fictional, escapist, random, accidental & fantasy" film work, and then some suggesting that NONE (or little) of this story actually happened, that much of it took place in their minds. To which I thought, I wish it didn't happen at all (as in the PLOT & movie).

But again, sadly....now that I sat through it, have NO idea what the ending is suppose to be (or mean).

Please share & enlighten me if you have insight on this. But yes, admittedly, I absolutely should NOT care. No one should. I think most DON'T.

And without question, it needles me I care at some level to end with a basic understanding (even with films I DON'T care at all about). If that makes any sense. It's an annoying, irritating, bad trait I have.
