Only 5 episodes

I know the storyline probably wasnt strong enough for more episodes. One thing though I we meant to really believe that the feminine exquisite looking Grace Darling was really a man

Yeah, the plot was so crazy they certainly couldn't keep it up as a regular series like in the states. I hope it comes back though when they've got another set of insane stories.

Grace as a man wasn't any more believable than van Gelder being a competent businessman. They had the beautiful woman used to be a man thing on Ugly Betty. I don't see how someone could complain about the sex change and be fine with the rest of the show. Its very escapist and fantastical, with the exception of the female friendships.

I wasn't complaining about the show at all, just putting my view across on the 'climax' of the storyline. But from what I have experienced of trans-gender people (not sure if that is the right phasing), there always seems to be some sort of feature that they can't disguise from the gender that they were born with, but with Grace she/the actress is very femimine looking. I would have thought that Evie (Simon's wife) would have been a better Adam Hartman candidate than Grace and a bit more of a twist (i.e. Simon marrying his male best friend from childhood). But yes I did like the rest of the show apart from the un-veiling of Adam Hartman.

In Ugly Betty, Alex to Alexis did look very convincing. Rebecca Romjin (think that's her name)who plays Alexis is very very beautiful and striking looking, but has a couple mascualine (sp?) features which is probably why she was cast for that role.
