btw, what was the TV special about? I'm really excited for this movie, even though in the end it probably won't live up to the manga.
Oh damn, it rocked! Really was 2.5 hours long, and even though my Japanese isn't perfect, I have read every single issue of the manga right to the end of 21st Century Boys, so I knew the story well. I hear Naoki Urasawa hand-picked the cast to match up with the characters in the story, and they really do match up well. The whole time I was watching, I kept thinking "this is the funk shiz."
The kid who plays Donkey is hilarious.
