My son wants to see this on Netflix, but I don't know anything about it, and the parental content guide is empty....
What type of content does this have? What type of rating would it get if it was rated?

It is too late for you but for anyone else who reads this there is a lot of gore when the virus or whatever it is gets on people. I would say other than that it is just like any other movie you would see on network tv. I wouldn't recommend for anyone under 12 due to the virus scenes.
shareThere's the occasional flash of a breast or two if I remember correctly- it may be only an advertisement in the background on some billboard though.
shareYeah, it's just a poster shown a couple times, and they have some "nudie" magazines. However, there isn't any nipple shown.
It's pretty funny watching the kids get worked up over these things. :)
I'd say it's about a PG level of "adult themes."
I don't recall any course language... if there was any, it'd probably also be about a PG level.
The only thing that would hit this film, ratings wise, is the violence. Whether it'd be PG-13 or R level is a kind of difficult call. I've seen some movies rated PG-13 for campy violence, that is actually extremely graphic; more so than the violence that nets other movies an R rating.
