So when exactly will we be seeing these hunters display their 'skills' ?

Hunter T-Bo specializes in parkour. I could be wrong, but ain't he usually the guy who rides the golf cart or whatever towards the end of each episode. If so, what a waste.

Hunter Wong specializes in stealth. How would this come into play when they all walk in the wide open space ? We never see them play ninja and *beep*

Hunter Vasques is a jumper. The only thing he's jumping is trash left out on the street.

EDIT:

Okay. I finally got around to seeing the latest episode.

Hunter T-Bo was actually hunting this time. Still, he didn't display his specialty as a parkour. So what a waste.

Hunter Wong sort of used his stealthy skills. Okay he didn't. He just happened to be walking towards a pair of runners who weren't paying attention.

Hunter Vasques also displayed his jumping skills. As he needlessly jumped a fire hydrant while giving chase. At least he's trying.

They give them these "skills" because that's what their skills are. My assumption is that Wong is very quiet when he's running at top speeds. So by stealth they mean if he's chasing you and you don't see him, you're less likely to hear him coming. They said in the last episode that Kim was the fastest based on the tests they put them through. I'm gonna assume they ran a 100 and/or 400 meter race and he clocked in the fastest. Vasques had the highest vertical in these aforementioned pre-tests.

And what they mean about T-Bo being a "parkour" is he's allowed to stray off the path that regular hunters must abide by. He's allowed to go and look between cars and behind signs and such. The other hunters aren't allowed to do that.

what? if there are areas that regular hunters can't go... why don't the contestants just chill in those places for 60 minutes until the finish line is revealed?

reply

Say they're playing the game in a city like they were the other week. Regular hunters aren't allowed to look under cars, but the Parkour can if he so chooses.

They aren't real skills. It's just embellishment to try and make it seem cooler. Every hunter has a couple of credits under their belts and none of it's stunt work.

The only ones that are even remotely true or useful are the ones like speed runner and distance runner.

It's not like the can climb fire escapes or jump on top of cars so how is the jumping one useful.

That just probably meant he had the highest vertical leap, wwwwooooowwwww, lol.
