Reviews

I have to admit I'm a little suspicious of all these glowing reviews, made mostly by people who have never reviewed another movie.

Seems unlikely that all these people who saw it at the Garden State Film Festival felt compelled to rush over to IMDB and rave about it.

But I could be wrong.

That fact that the same users posted identical comments on the Youtube trailer all within days of each other is a bit suspiscious too. Not to mention the fact that the trailer makes the movie itself look pretty poor. Odd that they should all have the idea to comment so close together.

EDIT: on closer inspection, they all joined Youtube around the same time and have no activity other than their comments on the trailer.

Where is IMDB located nowadays? It was created in the UK, wasn't it sold on? The reviews put on here are traceable by IP and other data, and if they are fake reviews by those involved with the film then it's actually illegal to do such in the EU.

Hey there brother. Thanks much for jumping in between those pathetic reviews. I personally find the fake posts amazingly stupid. Almost like those ridiculous phishing e-mails where "I have 1.5 million dollars I need to place into your account..." (well not quite as bad but still intentionally deceptive. That's where I find the disgust.)

Interesting because for a split second I almost obtained the film due to the 'wonderful" reviews. After reading yours I went back and read the reviews again. It is obvious they are fake.

Thanks again!

Yes, I recommend watching this on Piratebay!

An earlier film by the same director, Minimal Knowledge (yes, someone actually named their movie Minimal Knowledge) has some similarly gushing reviews from people who also seem to have joined IMDB specifically to write them. So it seems this ploy isn't a new one.
