I hate the name Peter
Especially when Paul Rudd's character is named that.
He should have been a "Joel" or a "Danny."

I love Paul Rudd! Super talented actor. Who would have thought that the actor who had a small role in Clueless in 1995 would have a 20+ year career!!!

But he's not supposed to be cool! Sure Paul Rudd the actor can be considered cool, but Peter Klaven is awkward and meek and uses spur-of-the-moment weird phrases, which he realizes seconds too late are made up and meaningless. If he were meant to be cool, he'd probably have plenty of male fiends, which contradicts the premise of this movie.

I loved all of Peter's awkwardness and funny phrases. It was awesome! It just would have sounded nicer/more pleasant if his character were called something else...even Mike or Ben or Cliff. Ted! Jonah! I just don't like the name Peter (sorry to all the Peters out there). How about "Pip?" :P "Pistol Pip"?
