Is this movie okay for people who are grossed out by gay stuff?

No offense to gay people out there, but it's just not for me.

I wouldn't want to be within a 10-foot radius of a TV set showing brokeback mountain, for example. However, the fight scene in Borat I found super funny.

But I hear this movie is really funny, so my question is, would I be able to watch the movie without barfing?

I dunno if my response will reach you all the way back in 1950...

I'm not bashing being gay or anything, I just feel uneasy about it.

If you want to be tolerant, why not be tolerant towards people like me as well?

And you didn't answer my question btw.

reply

I guess you'd fit right in during WWII. 'Oh that Hitler guy? Let him do his thing, we should be more tolerant.' Also does that logix go towards racist people too? Should we all be tolerant of their intolerance? Or sexist people? We should just accept that they hate a certain group for no reason?

And I didn't answer it because it can't be answered. Only YOU know what would make you 'uneasy', also it's an asinine question to begin with...so...

You're awesome. I love you, man :)

There is quite a bit of gay humor/situations in this movie. So skip it if you want, but you're missing a great comedy.

As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster.

Pls, here comes the "tolerance police" being all intolerant with their torches.

You can't chose your sexual orientation, just as well as you can't control what your "grossed out" about.

I don't wanna watch my parents having sex, but that doesn't mean I'm against it.

At least have the decency to let OP explain her/himself before labeling.

A perfect response.

No it isn't. And it isn't OK for anybody else either. There is only one semi-likable character(and it isn't the lead) and lots of gratuitous F words from women which don't ring true., I have no objection to F word, which I use constantly myself, but in movies it should ring true not just be shoved in to try to be funny.

I got only two laughs from this mess.

Hey, OP, you want to do some stuff to my b-hole later?

Yes, it is okay.

Just because your brain doesn't find gay interaction appealing, doesn't mean you 'hate' gay people. I wouldn't ever want to see two guys making out. I'm straight, does that mean I HATE gay people? No. I like gay people very much and one of my good friends is gay. They are fun to be around, clean/neat (lol), can't contribute another stupid kid to society, and are good spirited.

Does that mean I want to watch gay p0rn, hear about their sex fantasies or watch two guys make out? No. I'm just not wired that way.

Unfortunately now everyone is super PC (like pretty much everyone that has posted in this thread) and act like a bunch of douchenozzles.

Any gay situations in this film are pretty superficial. Considering the lead character is not gay, it should be easy to empathize with him in those situations.
